Well I always loved reading other people's blog's just to keep up and see how everyone was doing but I never made one because me and Spence lived in Henderson with the rest of the family and we got to talk to them almost every day so we never really had anything exciting to tell... But, now that we moved to Arizona for his Podiatry School I figured this would be fun to start so I can let everyone know what's going on with us.
We bought a house in Surprise, AZ (cute name for a town right?) and moved in about 3 weeks ago. We're really lucky because it just kind of fell into our laps and is perfect for us. Spence started school two weeks ago and is loving meeting tons of new people (he's just so social!). I had been looking for a job for the last couple weeks and wasn't really having any luck so I was kind of bummed. But, I actually had my first interview Friday at a Physical Therapist's office for a Tech position and the Director called me Saturday and I got the position! So I'm really excited because I just think I'll really enjoy this job, and I feel like it will help me decide if I want to go on and get my Master's in Occupational Therapy when Spence is done.
Our puppy Daphne is getting really big and quite the sassy puppy, but she's just so dang cute that it makes it okay.
We went to our ward for the first full block today and I'm really excited about it. It's actually really funny because a friend from High School is in my ward, and her husband is going to the same school as Spence so I'm really excited to actually know someone. And it was really funny because I recognized another girl in sacrament and come to find out that we had a couple of classes together at Utah State and her husband is at Midwestern also. So I'm already liking it a lot down here.
We wanted to try out floating the Salt River before we made family come down and visit so we went a couple weekends ago and it was really fun... But, I got REALLY sunburnt! Some of my skin was so bad it had like a purple tint to it... Yikes! But now I'm peeling at it's fine! We've heard about a couple other fun things to do that I'm excited to try out when our families come to visit!
I'm going to post some pictures of our house so that everyone can see since it's almost done...
And since I don't really know how to work this yet I'm gonna tell you what each of the pictures are... I could only get 5 up, lol someone's going to have to help me.
